of Jotham ､
､ אָחָ֥ז
’ā·ḥāz
Ahaz ､
יְחִזְקִיָּ֖ה
yə·ḥiz·qî·yāh
[and] Hezekiah
מַלְכֵ֣י
mal·ḵê
､ יְהוּדָ֑ה
yə·hū·ḏāh;
of Judah ､
אֲשֶׁר־
’ă·šer-
חָזָ֥ה
ḥā·zāh
he saw
עַל־
‘al-
שֹׁמְר֖וֹן
šō·mə·rō·wn
. וִירֽוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
wî·rū·šā·lim.
and Jerusalem .

Hear ､
– עַמִּ֣ים
‘am·mîm
כֻּלָּ֔ם
kul·lām,
､ הַקְשִׁ֖יבִי
haq·šî·ḇî
Listen ､
､ אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
earth ､
– וּמְלֹאָ֑הּ
ū·mə·lō·’āh;
and all that is in it –
וִיהִי֩
wî·hî
let be
אֲדֹנָ֨י
’ă·ḏō·nāy
the Lord
יְהוִ֤ה
Yah·weh
בָּכֶם֙
bā·ḵem
לְעֵ֔ד
lə·‘êḏ,
אֲדֹנָ֖י
’ă·ḏō·nāy
the Lord
מֵהֵיכַ֥ל
mê·hê·ḵal
. קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃
qā·ḏə·šōw.

For ､
､ הִנֵּ֥ה
hin·nêh
behold ､
יְהוָ֖ה
Yah·weh
יֹצֵ֣א
yō·ṣê
､ מִמְּקוֹמ֑וֹ
mim·mə·qō·w·mōw;
out of His place ､
､ וְיָרַ֥ד
wə·yā·raḏ
and He will come down ､
וְדָרַ֖ךְ
wə·ḏā·raḵ
and tread
עַל־
‘al-
on
[במותי]
bā·mō·w·ṯê
-
(בָּ֥מֳתֵי)
bā·mo·ṯê
the high places of
. אָֽרֶץ׃
’ā·reṣ.
the earth .

וְנָמַ֤סּוּ
wə·nā·mas·sū
And will melt
הֶֽהָרִים֙
he·hā·rîm
תַּחְתָּ֔יו
taḥ·tāw,
וְהָעֲמָקִ֖ים
wə·hā·‘ă·mā·qîm
and the valleys
､ יִתְבַּקָּ֑עוּ
yiṯ·baq·qā·‘ū;
will split ､
כַּדּוֹנַג֙
kad·dō·w·naḡ
מִפְּנֵ֣י
mip·pə·nê
､ הָאֵ֔שׁ
hā·’êš,
the fire ､
כְּמַ֖יִם
kə·ma·yim
מֻגָּרִ֥ים
mug·gā·rîm
. בְּמוֹרָֽד׃
bə·mō·w·rāḏ.

בְּפֶ֤שַׁע
bə·p̄e·ša‘
יַֽעֲקֹב֙
ya·‘ă·qōḇ
כָּל־
kāl-
､ זֹ֔את
zōṯ,
this [is] ､
וּבְחַטֹּ֖אות
ū·ḇə·ḥaṭ·ṭō·wṯ
and for the sins
בֵּ֣ית
bêṯ
of the house
. יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל
yiś·rā·’êl;
of Israel .
מִֽי־
mî-
Who [is]
פֶ֣שַׁע
p̄e·ša‘
؟ יַעֲקֹ֗ב
ya·‘ă·qōḇ,
of Jacob ؟
הֲלוֹא֙
hă·lō·w
is [it] not
؟ שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן
šō·mə·rō·wn,
וּמִי֙
ū·mî
and who [are]
בָּמ֣וֹת
bā·mō·wṯ
؟ יְהוּדָ֔ה
yə·hū·ḏāh,
of Judah ؟
הֲל֖וֹא
hă·lō·w
Are [they] not
؟ יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
yə·rū·šā·lim.

וְשַׂמְתִּ֥י
wə·śam·tî
שֹׁמְר֛וֹן
šō·mə·rō·wn
לְעִ֥י
lə·‘î
a heap of [ruins] in
､ הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה
haś·śā·ḏeh
the field ､
לְמַטָּ֣עֵי
lə·maṭ·ṭā·‘ê
. כָ֑רֶם
ḵā·rem;
וְהִגַּרְתִּ֤י
wə·hig·gar·tî
And I will pour down
､ לַגַּי֙
lag·gay
into the valley ､
אֲבָנֶ֔יהָ
’ă·ḇā·ne·hā,
וִיסֹדֶ֖יהָ
wî·sō·ḏe·hā
. אֲגַלֶּֽה׃
’ă·ḡal·leh.
I will uncover .

וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
And all
פְּסִילֶ֣יהָ
pə·sî·le·hā
､ יֻכַּ֗תּוּ
yuk·kat·tū,
shall be beaten to pieces ､
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
אֶתְנַנֶּ֙יהָ֙
’eṯ·nan·ne·hā
her [pay] as a harlot
יִשָּׂרְפ֣וּ
yiś·śā·rə·p̄ū
､ בָאֵ֔שׁ
ḇā·’êš,
with the fire ､
וְכָל־
wə·ḵāl
and all
עֲצַבֶּ֖יהָ
‘ă·ṣab·be·hā
אָשִׂ֣ים
’ā·śîm
I will lay
､ שְׁמָמָ֑ה
šə·mā·māh;
כִּ֠י
kî
מֵאֶתְנַ֤ן
mê·’eṯ·nan
from the pay of
､ זוֹנָה֙
zō·w·nāh
a harlot ､
קִבָּ֔צָה
qib·bā·ṣāh,
וְעַד־
wə·‘aḏ-
and to
אֶתְנַ֥ן
’eṯ·nan
the pay
זוֹנָ֖ה
zō·w·nāh
of a harlot
. יָשֽׁוּבוּ׃
yā·šū·ḇū.

I will wail
､ וְאֵילִ֔ילָה
wə·’ê·lî·lāh,
and howl ､
אֵילְכָ֥ה
’ê·lə·ḵāh
I will go
[שילל]
šî·lal
-
(שׁוֹלָ֖ל)
šō·w·lāl
– וְעָר֑וֹם
wə·‘ā·rō·wm;
and naked –
אֶעֱשֶׂ֤ה
’e·‘ĕ·śeh
I will make
מִסְפֵּד֙
mis·pêḏ
כַּתַּנִּ֔ים
kat·tan·nîm,
וְאֵ֖בֶל
wə·’ê·ḇel
and a mourning
כִּבְנ֥וֹת
kiḇ·nō·wṯ
. יַעֲנָֽה׃
ya·‘ă·nāh.
the ostriches .

מַכּוֹתֶ֑יהָ

כִּי־

עַד־

– יְהוּדָ֔ה
yə·hū·ḏāh,
Judah –
נָגַ֛ע
nā·ḡa‘
עַד־
‘aḏ-
to
שַׁ֥עַר
ša·‘ar
the gate
､ עַמִּ֖י
‘am·mî
of My people ､
עַד־
‘aḏ-
to
. יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
yə·rū·šā·lim.

bə·ḡaṯ
In Gath ､
אַל־
’al-
not
תַּגִּ֔ידוּ
tag·gî·ḏū,
Tell [it]
– בָּכ֖וֹ
bā·ḵōw
at all –
אַל־
’al-
not
תִּבְכּ֑וּ
tiḇ·kū;
בְּבֵ֣ית
bə·ḇêṯ
in
לְעַפְרָ֔ה
lə·‘ap̄·rāh,
. עָפָ֖ר
‘ā·p̄ār
in the dust .

מָר֑וֹת

כִּֽי־

but
יָ֤רַד
yā·raḏ
רָע֙
rā‘
מֵאֵ֣ת
mê·’êṯ
יְהוָ֔ה
Yah·weh,
לְשַׁ֖עַר
lə·ša·‘ar
to the gate
. יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃
yə·rū·šā·lim.

הַמֶּרְכָּבָ֛ה

､ לָרֶ֖כֶשׁ

to the swift steeds ､
יוֹשֶׁ֣בֶת
yō·wō·še·ḇeṯ
､ לָכִ֑ישׁ
lā·ḵîš;
of Lachish ､
רֵאשִׁ֨ית
rê·šîṯ
חַטָּ֥את
ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ
of sin
הִיא֙
hî
לְבַת־
lə·ḇaṯ-
to the daughter
– צִיּ֔וֹן
ṣî·yō·wn,
of Zion –
כִּי־
kî-
בָ֥ךְ
ḇāḵ
in you
נִמְצְא֖וּ
nim·ṣə·’ū
פִּשְׁעֵ֥י
piš·‘ê
. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

of Israel .

תִּתְּנִ֣י
tit·tə·nî
שִׁלּוּחִ֔ים
šil·lū·ḥîm,
עַ֖ל
‘al
to
מוֹרֶ֣שֶׁת
mō·w·re·šeṯ
– גַּ֑ת
gaṯ;
בָּתֵּ֤י
bāt·tê
the houses
אַכְזִיב֙
’aḵ·zîḇ
לְאַכְזָ֔ב
lə·’aḵ·zāḇ,
[shall be] a lie
לְמַלְכֵ֖י
lə·mal·ḵê
to the kings
. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
yiś·rā·’êl.
of Israel .

הַיֹּרֵשׁ֙
hay·yō·rêš
an heir
אָ֣בִי

I will bring
לָ֔ךְ

to you
יוֹשֶׁ֖בֶת
yō·wō·še·ḇeṯ
. מָֽרֵשָׁ֑ה
mā·rê·šāh;
עַד־
‘aḏ-
To
עֲדֻּלָּ֥ם‪‬‪‬
‘ă·ḏul·lām
יָב֖וֹא
yā·ḇō·w
כְּב֥וֹד
kə·ḇō·wḏ
the glory
. יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
yiś·rā·’êl.
of Israel .

､ קָרְחִ֣י

וָגֹ֔זִּי
wā·ḡōz·zî,
עַל־
‘al-
– בְּנֵ֖י
bə·nê
of children –
תַּעֲנוּגָ֑יִךְ
ta·‘ă·nū·ḡā·yiḵ;
הַרְחִ֤בִי
har·ḥi·ḇî
קָרְחָתֵךְ֙
qā·rə·ḥā·ṯêḵ
– כַּנֶּ֔שֶׁר
kan·ne·šer,
like an eagle –
כִּ֥י
kî
גָל֖וּ
ḡā·lū
. מִמֵּֽךְ׃
mim·mêḵ.
