Come to Me Quickly!

מִזְמ֗וֹר

. לְדָ֫וִ֥ד

קְ֭רָאתִיךָ

qə·rā·ṯî·ḵā

I cry out to You

ח֣וּשָׁה

ḥū·šāh

לִּ֑י

lî;

to me

הַאֲזִ֥ינָה

ha·’ă·zî·nāh

､ ק֝וֹלִ֗י

qō·w·lî,

to my voice ､

בְּקָרְאִי־

bə·qā·rə·’î-

. לָֽךְ׃

lāḵ.

to You .

תִּכּ֤וֹן

tik·kō·wn

תְּפִלָּתִ֣י

tə·p̄il·lā·ṯî

– קְטֹ֣רֶת

qə·ṭō·reṯ

[as] incense –

לְפָנֶ֑יךָ

lə·p̄ā·ne·ḵā;

מַֽשְׂאַ֥ת

maś·’aṯ

the lifting up

כַּ֝פַּ֗י

kap·pay,

of my hands

מִנְחַת־

min·ḥaṯ-

[as] the sacrifice

. עָֽרֶב׃

‘ā·reḇ.

שִׁיתָ֣ה

šî·ṯāh

､ יְ֭הוָה

Yah·weh

､ שָׁמְרָ֣ה

šā·mə·rāh

a guard ､

– לְפִ֑י

lə·p̄î;

over my mouth –

נִ֝צְּרָ֗ה

niṣ·ṣə·rāh,

עַל־

‘al-

דַּ֥ל

dal

the door

. שְׂפָתָֽי׃

śə·p̄ā·ṯāy.

of my lips .

אַל־

’al-

Not

תַּט־

taṭ-

לִבִּ֨י

lib·bî

､ לְדָבָ֪ר ׀

lə·ḏā·ḇār

to any thing ､

רָ֡ע

rā‘

לְהִתְע֘וֹלֵ֤ל

lə·hiṯ·‘ō·w·lêl

עֲלִל֨וֹת ׀

‘ă·li·lō·wṯ

בְּרֶ֗שַׁע

bə·re·ša‘,

אֶת־

’eṯ-

with

אִישִׁ֥ים

’î·šîm

פֹּֽעֲלֵי־

pō·‘ă·lê-

– אָ֑וֶן

’ā·wen;

וּבַל־

ū·ḇal-

and not

אֶ֝לְחַ֗ם

’el·ḥam,

do let me eat

. בְּמַנְעַמֵּיהֶֽם׃

bə·man·‘am·mê·hem.

of their delicacies .

יֶֽהֶלְמֵֽנִי־

ye·hel·mê·nî-

צַדִּ֨יק ׀

ṣad·dîq

– חֶ֡סֶד

ḥe·seḏ

[it shall be] a kindness –

וְֽיוֹכִיחֵ֗נִי

wə·yō·w·ḵî·ḥê·nî,

and let him rebuke me

､ שֶׁ֣מֶן

še·men

oil ､

רֹ֭אשׁ

rōš

[it shall be] as excellent

אַל־

’al-

not

יָנִ֣י

yā·nî

– רֹאשִׁ֑י

rō·šî;

my head –

כִּי־

kî-

ע֥וֹד

‘ō·wḏ

וּ֝תְפִלָּתִ֗י

ū·ṯə·p̄il·lā·ṯî,

and my prayer [is]

. בְּרָעוֹתֵיהֶֽם׃

bə·rā·‘ō·w·ṯê·hem.

against the deeds of the wicked .

נִשְׁמְט֣וּ

niš·mə·ṭū

､ בִֽידֵי־

ḇî·ḏê-

by the sides ､

סֶ֭לַע

se·la‘

of the cliff

שֹׁפְטֵיהֶ֑ם

šō·p̄ə·ṭê·hem;

וְשָׁמְע֥וּ

wə·šā·mə·‘ū

– אֲ֝מָרַ֗י

’ă·mā·ray,

my words –

כִּ֣י

kî

. נָעֵֽמוּ׃

nā·‘ê·mū.

they are sweet .

כְּמ֤וֹ

kə·mōw

פֹלֵ֣חַ

p̄ō·lê·aḥ

וּבֹקֵ֣עַ

ū·ḇō·qê·a‘

and breaks up

. בָּאָ֑רֶץ

bā·’ā·reṣ;

the earth .

נִפְזְר֥וּ

nip̄·zə·rū

עֲ֝צָמֵ֗ינוּ

‘ă·ṣā·mê·nū,

､ לְפִ֣י

lə·p̄î

at the mouth ､

. שְׁאֽוֹל׃

šə·’ō·wl.

of the grave .

כִּ֤י

kî

But

אֵלֶ֨יךָ ׀

’ê·le·ḵā

יְהֹוִ֣ה

Yah·weh

– אֲדֹנָ֣י

’ă·ḏō·nāy

the Lord –

עֵינָ֑י

‘ê·nāy;

בְּכָ֥ה

bə·ḵāh

in You

– חָ֝סִ֗יתִי

ḥā·sî·ṯî,

I take refuge –

אַל־

’al-

not

תְּעַ֥ר

tə·‘ar

do leave destitute

. נַפְשִֽׁי׃

nap̄·šî.

my soul .

שָׁמְרֵ֗נִי

šā·mə·rê·nî,

מִ֣ידֵי

mî·ḏê

פַ֭ח

p̄aḥ

יָ֣קְשׁוּ

yā·qə·šū

לִ֑י

lî;

for me

וּ֝מֹקְשׁ֗וֹת

ū·mō·qə·šō·wṯ,

and from the traps

פֹּ֣עֲלֵי

pō·‘ă·lê

of the workers

. אָֽוֶן׃

’ā·wen.

יִפְּל֣וּ

yip·pə·lū

､ בְמַכְמֹרָ֣יו

ḇə·maḵ·mō·rāw

into their own nets ､

רְשָׁעִ֑ים

rə·šā·‘îm;

יַ֥חַד

ya·ḥaḏ

אָ֝נֹכִ֗י

’ā·nō·ḵî,

I

עַֽד־

‘aḏ-

. אֶעֱבֽוֹר׃

’e·‘ĕ·ḇō·wr.
