of Cush
בֶּן־

in
יְמִינִֽי׃
yə·mî·nî.
יְהוָ֣ה
Yah·weh
､ אֱ֭לֹהַי
’ĕ·lō·hay
my God ､
בְּךָ֣
bə·ḵā
in You
– חָסִ֑יתִי
ḥā·sî·ṯî;
I put my trust –
הוֹשִׁיעֵ֥נִי
hō·wō·šî·‘ê·nî
Save me
מִכָּל־
mik·kāl
רֹ֝דְפַ֗י
rō·ḏə·p̄ay,
. וְהַצִּילֵֽנִי׃
wə·haṣ·ṣî·lê·nî.
and deliver me .

､ כְּאַרְיֵ֣ה

like a lion ､
נַפְשִׁ֑י

me
､ פֹּ֝רֵ֗ק
pō·rêq,
Rending [me] in pieces ､
וְאֵ֣ין
wə·’ên
and while [there is] none
. מַצִּֽיל׃
maṣ·ṣîl.
to deliver .

Yah·weh
､ אֱ֭לֹהַי
’ĕ·lō·hay
my God ､
אִם־
’im-
if
עָשִׂ֣יתִי
‘ā·śî·ṯî
– זֹ֑את
zōṯ;
this –
אִֽם־
’im-
if
יֶשׁ־
yeš-
עָ֥וֶל
‘ā·wel
– בְּכַפָּֽי׃
bə·ḵap·pāy.
in my hands –

גָּ֭מַלְתִּי
gā·mal·tî
שֽׁוֹלְמִ֥י

to him who was at peace with me
רָ֑ע
rā‘;
וָאֲחַלְּצָ֖ה
wā·’ă·ḥal·lə·ṣāh
צוֹרְרִ֣י
ṣō·wr·rî
. רֵיקָֽם׃

יִֽרַדֹּ֥ף

אוֹיֵ֨ב ׀

the enemy
､ נַפְשִׁ֡י

me ､
וְיַשֵּׂ֗ג
wə·yaś·śêḡ,
and overtake [me]
וְיִרְמֹ֣ס
wə·yir·mōs
､ לָאָ֣רֶץ
lā·’ā·reṣ
to the earth ､
חַיָּ֑י
ḥay·yāy;
my life
וּכְבוֹדִ֓י ׀
ū·ḵə·ḇō·w·ḏî
and my honor
לֶעָפָ֖ר
le·‘ā·p̄ār
in the dust
יַשְׁכֵּ֣ן
yaš·kên
. סֶֽלָה׃

､ ק֘וּמָ֤ה

Arise ､
､ יְהוָ֨ה ׀
Yah·weh
Yahweh ､
､ בְּאַפֶּ֗ךָ
bə·’ap·pe·ḵā,
in Your anger ､
הִ֭נָּשֵׂא
hin·nā·śê
בְּעַבְר֣וֹת
bə·‘aḇ·rō·wṯ
because of the rage
､ צוֹרְרָ֑י
ṣō·wr·rāy;
of my enemies ､
וְע֥וּרָה
wə·‘ū·rāh
and Rise up
אֵ֝לַ֗י
’ê·lay,
for me
מִשְׁפָּ֥ט
miš·pāṭ
[to] the judgment
. צִוִּֽיתָ׃
ṣiw·wî·ṯā.

וַעֲדַ֣ת
wa·‘ă·ḏaṯ
לְ֭אֻמִּים
lə·’um·mîm
of the peoples
– תְּסוֹבְבֶ֑ךָּ
tə·sō·wḇ·ḇe·kā;
וְ֝עָלֶ֗יהָ
wə·‘ā·le·hā,
לַמָּר֥וֹם
lam·mā·rō·wm
on high
. שֽׁוּבָה׃
šū·ḇāh.

יְהוָה֮
Yah·weh
יָדִ֪ין
yā·ḏîn
– עַ֫מִּ֥ים
‘am·mîm
the peoples –
שָׁפְטֵ֥נִי
šā·p̄ə·ṭê·nî
､ יְהוָ֑ה
Yah·weh;
Yahweh ､
､ כְּצִדְקִ֖י
kə·ṣiḏ·qî
וּכְתֻמִּ֣י
ū·ḵə·ṯum·mî
. עָלָֽי׃
‘ā·lāy.
within me .

– יִגְמָר־
yiḡ·mār-
Let come to an end –
נָ֬א
nā
Oh
רַ֨ע ׀
ra‘
רְשָׁעִים֮
rə·šā·‘îm
of the wicked
וּתְכוֹנֵ֪ן
ū·ṯə·ḵō·w·nên
– צַ֫דִּ֥יק
ṣad·dîq
the just –
וּבֹחֵ֣ן
ū·ḇō·ḥên
לִ֭בּ֗וֹת
lib·bō·wṯ,
the hearts
וּכְלָי֗וֹת
ū·ḵə·lā·yō·wṯ,
and minds
אֱלֹהִ֥ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm
the God
. צַדִּֽיק׃
ṣad·dîq.

מָֽגִנִּ֥י
mā·ḡin·nî
My defense [is]
עַל־
‘al-
of
､ אֱלֹהִ֑ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm;
God ､
מ֝וֹשִׁ֗יעַ
mō·wō·šî·a‘,
יִשְׁרֵי־
yiš·rê-
. לֵֽב׃
lêḇ.
in heart .

אֱ֭לֹהִים
’ĕ·lō·hîm
God [is]
שׁוֹפֵ֣ט
šō·w·p̄êṭ
､ צַדִּ֑יק
ṣad·dîq;
just ､
וְ֝אֵ֗ל
wə·’êl,
and God
זֹעֵ֥ם
zō·‘êm
is angry [with the wicked]
בְּכָל־
bə·ḵāl
. יֽוֹם׃
yō·wm.
day .

אִם־
’im-
If
､ לֹ֣א
lō
not ､
יָ֭שׁוּב
yā·šūḇ
– חַרְבּ֣וֹ
ḥar·bōw
יִלְט֑וֹשׁ
yil·ṭō·wōš;
He will sharpen
､ קַשְׁתּ֥וֹ
qaš·tōw
His bow ､
דָ֝רַ֗ךְ
ḏā·raḵ,
. וַֽיְכוֹנְנֶֽהָ׃
way·ḵō·wn·ne·hā.
and makes it ready .

וְ֭לוֹ
wə·lōw
הֵכִ֣ין
hê·ḵîn
כְּלֵי־
kə·lê-
– מָ֑וֶת
mā·weṯ;
of death –
חִ֝צָּ֗יו
ḥiṣ·ṣāw,
לְֽדֹלְקִ֥ים
lə·ḏō·lə·qîm
. יִפְעָֽל׃
yip̄·‘āl.
He makes .

､ הִנֵּ֥ה
hin·nêh
Behold ､
יְחַבֶּל־
yə·ḥab·bel-
､ אָ֑וֶן
’ā·wen;
וְהָרָ֥ה
wə·hā·rāh
and Yes he conceives
､ עָ֝מָ֗ל
‘ā·māl,
וְיָ֣לַד
wə·yā·laḏ
. שָֽׁקֶר׃
šā·qer.

､ בּ֣וֹר
bō·wr
A pit ､
כָּ֭רָֽה
kā·rāh
He made
וַֽיַּחְפְּרֵ֑הוּ
way·yaḥ·pə·rê·hū;
and dug it out
וַ֝יִּפֹּ֗ל
way·yip·pōl,
בְּשַׁ֣חַת
bə·ša·ḥaṯ
. יִפְעָֽל׃
yip̄·‘āl.
[which] he made .

יָשׁ֣וּב
yā·šūḇ
עֲמָל֣וֹ
‘ă·mā·lōw
､ בְרֹאשׁ֑וֹ
ḇə·rō·šōw;
וְעַ֥ל
wə·‘al
and on
קָ֝דְקֳד֗וֹ
qā·ḏə·qo·ḏōw,
חֲמָס֥וֹ
ḥă·mā·sōw
. יֵרֵֽד׃
yê·rêḏ.

אוֹדֶ֣ה
’ō·w·ḏeh
I will praise
יְהוָ֣ה
Yah·weh
– כְּצִדְק֑וֹ
kə·ṣiḏ·qōw;
וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה
wa·’ă·zam·mə·rāh,
and will sing praise
שֵֽׁם־
šêm-
to the name
יְהוָ֥ה
Yah·weh
. עֶלְיֽוֹן׃
‘el·yō·wn.
