'Our Shield' in the Bible

We wait [expectantly] for the Lord;He is our help and our shield.

Do not kill them, or my people will forget;Scatter them and make them wander [endlessly] back and forth by Your power, and bring them down,O Lord our shield!

See our shield, O God,And look at the face of Your anointed [the king as Your representative].

For our shield belongs to the Lord,And our king to the Holy One of Israel.
