Acts 2:41-47 - A Generous And Growing Church
41 Then they that gladly received his word were immersed, and on that day there were added to them about three thou sand souls. 42 And they attended constantly to the teaching of the apostles, and the fellowship, and the breaking of bread, and the prayers.
43 And fear came on every soul; and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things in common; 45 and they sold their possessions and goods, and distributed them to all, as each had need. 46 And with one consent, they continued daily in the temple; and, breaking bread from house to house, they partook of their food with gladness and simplicity of heart, 47 praising God, and being in favor with all the people. And the Lord added the saved daily to the Church.
