John 4:46-54 - A Royal Official's Son Is Healed

⁴⁶ So he came again into Cana of Galilee, where he made the water wine. And there was a certain nobleman, whose son was sick, at Capernaum. ⁴⁷ He, having heard that Jesus had come out of Judaea into Galilee, went to him, and asked him to go down and heal his son; for he was at the point of death.

⁴⁸ Then Jesus said to him, Unless ye see signs and wonders, ye will not believe.

⁴⁹ The nobleman saith to him, Sir, come down before my child die.

⁵⁰ Jesus saith to him, Go; thy son liveth. The man believed the word that Jesus spoke to him, and went away.

⁵¹ And as he was now going down, the servants met him, and brought word that his child was living. ⁵² Then he inquired of them the hour when he began to mend. And they said to him, Yesterday at the seventh hour the fever left him. ⁵³ So the father knew that it was in the same hour in which Jesus said to him, Thy son is living. And he himself believed, and his whole house.

⁵⁴ This again, a second sign, Jesus wrought, when he had come out of Judaea into Galilee.
