¹³ Hold fast the pattern of sound teaching you have heard from me in faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. ¹⁴ Guard the glorious trust which has been committed to you by the aid of the Holy Spirit who makes his home in us. ¹⁵ You already know that all the Christians in Roman Asia forsook me, among them Phygellus and Hermogenes. ¹⁶ The Lord show mercy to the house hold of Onesiphorus; for many a time he refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain. ¹⁷ But when he came to Rome he sought for me until he found me. ¹⁸ The Lord grant him to find mercy form the Lord in that Day! And you know better than I how many services he rendered in Ephesus.
