Psalm 3:1-Psalm 4:1 - Confidence In Troubled Times
1 ([Psalm of David]) O Jehovah, look how my enemies have increased! Many are attacking me. 2 Many are saying about me: Even with God on his side, he will not have victory (deliverance) (salvation).
3 You, O Jehovah, are a protective shield over me. You are my glory. You hold my head high. 4 I call aloud to Jehovah. He answers me from his holy mountain.
5 I lie down and sleep. I wake up again because Jehovah continues to sustain me. 6 I am not afraid of the tens of thousands who have taken positions against me on all sides.
7 Arise, O Jehovah! Save me, O my God! You have slapped all my enemies in the face. You have broken the teeth of wicked people.
8 Salvation belongs to Jehovah! You bless your people.
1 ([Psalm of David]) Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness! You have relieved me in my trouble. Have mercy on me and hear my prayer.
