1 Corinthians 10:23-33 - Freedom In Christ

23 All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable; all things are lawful, but not all things build up. 24 Let no one seek his own, but each another's good.

25 Whatsoever is sold in the market eat, asking no question because of conscience; 26 for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. 27 If one of the unbelieving invites you to a feast, and ye wish to go, whatsoever is set before you eat, asking no question because of conscience. 28 But, if anyone says to you, "This is the remains of an idol-sacrifice." eat it not, for his sake that showed it, and because of conscience: 29 conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's; for why is my liberty judged by another conscience? 30 If I partake with thankfulness, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

31 Whether, therefore, ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God, 32 Give no occasion of stumbling, either to Jews or Greeks, or to the assembly of God: 33 even as I also, in all things, please all men: not seeking my own profit, but that of the many, that they may be saved.
