1 Corinthians 10:23-33 - Freedom In Christ

²³ All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable; all things are lawful, but not all things build up. ²⁴ Let no one seek his own, but each another's good.

²⁵ Whatsoever is sold in the market eat, asking no question because of conscience; ²⁶ for the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof. ²⁷ If one of the unbelieving invites you to a feast, and ye wish to go, whatsoever is set before you eat, asking no question because of conscience. ²⁸ But, if anyone says to you, "This is the remains of an idol-sacrifice." eat it not, for his sake that showed it, and because of conscience: ²⁹ conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's; for why is my liberty judged by another conscience? ³⁰ If I partake with thankfulness, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

³¹ Whether, therefore, ye eat or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God, ³² Give no occasion of stumbling, either to Jews or Greeks, or to the assembly of God: ³³ even as I also, in all things, please all men: not seeking my own profit, but that of the many, that they may be saved.
