1 John 1:5-10 - God Is Light, So Walk In The Light
5 This then is the commission we have from him, to declare unto you, that God is light, and in him there is no darkness. 6 if we say that we have communion with him, and walk in darkness, we lye, and do not act sincerely: 7 but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have society one with another, and the blood of his son Jesus Christ cleanseth us from all sin. 8 If we say that we are without sin, we deceive ourselves, and have no regard to truth. 9 if we confess our sins, as he is faithful and just, he will forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all iniquity. 10 if we say that we have not sinned, we impeach his veracity, and discredit his word.
