Matthew 10:5-15 - Jesus Sends Out The Twelve Apostles
5 These twelve did Jesus send, and commanded them, saying, "Go not into the ways that lead to the Gentiles, and in to the cities of the Samaritans enter ye not: 6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. 7 Go and preach, saying that the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out the devils: Freely ye have received, freely give again. 9 Possess not gold, nor silver, nor brass in your girdles, 10 nor yet scrip towards your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet a staff: for the workman is worthy to have his meat.
11 Into whatsoever city, or town ye shall come, enquire who is worthy in it, and there abide till ye go thence. 12 And when ye come into a house, salute the same. 13 And if the house be worthy, your peace shall come upon it: but if it be not worthy, your peace shall return to you again. 14 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor will hear your preaching, when ye depart out of that house, or that city, shake off the dust of your feet. 15 Truly I say unto you, it shall be easier for the land of Sodom, and Gomorra, in the day of judgment, than for that city.
