John 14:5-14 - Jesus The Way To The Father

⁵ "Lord," said Thomas, "we do not know where you are going, and how are we to know the way?"

⁶ Jesus said to him, "I am the real and living way: no one comes to the Father except by means of me.

⁷ If you knew me, you would know my Father too. You know him now and you have seen him."

⁸ "Lord," said Philip, "let us see the Father; that is all we want."

⁹ Jesus said to him, "Philip, have I been with you all this time, and yet you do not understand me? He who has seen me has seen the Father. What do you mean by saying, 'Let us see the Father'? ¹⁰ Do you not believe I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words I speak to you all I do not speak of my own accord; it is the Father who remains ever in me, who is performing his own deeds. ¹¹ Believe me, I am in the Father and the Father is in me: ??or else, believe because of the deeds themselves.

¹² Truly, truly I tell you, he who believes in me will do the very deeds I do, and still greater deeds than these. For I am going to the Father, ¹³ and I will do whatever you ask in my name, that the Father may be glorified in the Son; ¹⁴ I will do whatever you ask me in my name.
