John 14:5-14 - Jesus The Way To The Father

⁵ Thomas says to Him, "Lord, we know not whither Thou art going; how do we know the way?"

⁶ Jesus saith to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through Me.

⁷ If ye knew Me, ye would know My Father also; from henceforth ye know Him, and have seen Him."

⁸ Philip says to Him, "Lord, show us the Father, and it suffices us."

⁹ Jesus saith to him, "So long a time am I with you, and you do not know Me, Philip! He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how say you, 'Show us the Father?' ¹⁰ Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me? The words that I say to you, I speak not from Myself; but the Father, abiding in Me, doeth His works. ¹¹ Believe Me, that I am in the Father, and the Father in Me; or, else, believe Me because of the works themselves.

¹² Verily, verily, I say to you, he that believes on Me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go to the Father. ¹³ And whatsoever ye shall ask in My name, this will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. ¹⁴ If ye shall ask anything in My name, I will do it.
