Luke 19:41-44 - Jesus Weeps Over Jerusalem
41 As He approached it, just as soon as He saw the city, He burst into tears over it, 42 and said: "If today you yourself had only known the conditions of peace! But now they are hidden from you. 43 For a time is coming upon you when your enemies will throw up earthworks around you and surround you and hem you in on all sides, 44 and they will throw you and your children within you to the ground, and they will not leave one stone upon another in you, because you did not know when God visited you."
