Then the Lord turned and looked at Peter, and Peter was reminded of the word that the Lord had spoken to him, "Before a cock crows today, you will disown me three times."
As He was walking by the shore of the sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers, Simon who was summed Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.
Then he took him to Jesus. Jesus looked him over and said, "You are Simon, son of John. From now on your name shall be Cephas" (which means Peter, or Rock).
Jesus saw Nathaniel coming toward Him, and said of him, "Here is a genuine Israelite with no deceit in him!"
Nathaniel said to Him, "How do you know me?" Jesus answered him, "While you were still under the fig tree, before Philip called you, I saw you."

Jesus answered him, "Do you believe in me because I told you that I saw you under the fig tree? You will see greater things than this."
Jesus saw him lying there, and when He found out that he had been in that condition for a long time, He asked him, "Do you want to get well?"
So Jesus, on seeing His mother and the disciple whom He loved standing near, said to His mother, "There is your son."
When He saw the crowds, His heart was moved with pity for them, because they were tired and scattered like sheep without a shepherd.
So Jesus looked around at them in anger, because He was pained over their stubbornness of mind, and said to the man, "Hold out your hand." And he held it out, and his hand was cured.
Then Jesus looked at him and loved him, and said to him, "You lack one thing. Go, sell everything you have, and give the money to the poor, and you will have riches in heaven; then come back and follow me."
Then Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, "How hard it will be for those who have money to get into the kingdom of God!"
But Jesus looked at them and said, "This is impossible for men, but everything is possible for God."
Then He glanced around at them all and said to him, "Put out your hand." And he did so, and his hand was at once completely restored.
Then He fixed His eyes upon His disciples, and began to speak. "Blessed are you who are poor, for the kingdom of God is yours!
As He approached it, just as soon as He saw the city, He burst into tears over it,
Now Jesus turned, and as He saw them following Him, He said, "What are you looking for?" They said to Him, "Rabbi," (which means Teacher), "where are you staying?"
So Jesus looked up and saw that a vast crowd was coming toward Him, and said to Philip, "Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?"
When He saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain. After He had taken His seat, His disciples came up to Him.
So you too are now in sorrow, but I am going to see you again, and then your hearts will be happy, and no one can rob you of your happiness.
When Jesus had said all these things, He lifted His eyes to heaven and said: "Father, the time has come. Glorify your Son, that He may glorify you,
