Matthew 12:46-50 - Jesus' Mother And Brothers

⁴⁶ And while he was speaking to the multitudes, behold his mother and his brothers stood without, desiring to speak to him. ⁴⁷ And some one said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers stand without, desiring to speak to you.

⁴⁸ And he answered and said to him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brothers? ⁴⁹ and stretching out his hand to his disciples, he said, Behold my mother, and my brothers! ⁵⁰ For whoever does the will of my Father in heaven, he is my brother, and sister, and mother.

³¹ Then came his brothers and his mother, and standing without, sent to him to call him. ³² And a multitude sat around him. And they said to him, Behold your mother, and your brothers, and your sisters seek you without.

³³ And he answered them and said, Who is my mother, or my brothers? ³⁴ And looking round on those sitting about him, he said, Behold my mother, and my brothers! ³⁵ Whoever shall do the will of God, this is my brother, and sister, and mother.

¹⁹ And his mother and brothers came to him, and were not able to approach him on account of the multitude. ²⁰ And it was told him by some, saying, Your mother and your brothers stand without, wishing to see you.

²¹ And he answered and said to them, My mother and my brothers are those who hear the word of God and perform it.
