Matthew 8:14-17 - Many At Capernaum Are Healed

¹⁴ And Jesus coming into Peter's house, saw his wife's mother lying sick of a fever. ¹⁵ And he touched her hand, and the fever left her; and she arose and waited upon them. ¹⁶ When it was evening, they brought to him many demoniacs; and he cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all that were ill: ¹⁷ Whereby was fulfilled what was spoken by the prophet Isaiah, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our diseases.

²⁹ And coming out of the synagogue, they entered forthwith into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John. ³⁰ And Simon's wife's mother lay ill of a fever, and immediately they tell him of her. ³¹ And he came and taking her by the hand, lifted her up; and straightway the fever left her, and she waited on them.

³² And in the evening, when the sun was set, they brought to him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils. ³³ And the whole city was gathered together at the door. ³⁴ And he healed many that were ill of divers diseases, and cast out many devils, and suffered not the devils to say that they knew him.
