Luke 9:18-20 - Peter's Confession

Luke 9:18-20

18 And as he was praying apart, his Disciples were with him. And he asked them saying, whom say the people that I am?

19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, that one of the old prophets is risen again.

20 He said to them, but whom say ye, that I am?

John 6:66-71

66 From this time many of his disciples went back and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus to the twelve, Are ye also minded to go away?

68 Then Simon Peter answered him, saying, Lord, to whom shall we go? 69 Thou hast the words of eternal life. And we have believed and known, that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

70 Jesus answered them, Have I not chosen you twelve? Yet one of you is a devil. 71 He spake of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon; for he it was that would betray him, being one of the twelve.
