Matthew 4:12-17 - Public Ministry In Galilee

¹² And, hearing that John was delivered up, He withdrew into Galilee. ¹³ And, having left Nazareth, having come, He dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the borders of Zebulon and Naphtali; ¹⁴ that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,

¹⁵ "Land of Zebulon and land of Naphtali, by way of the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the nations: ¹⁶ The people that were sitting in darkness saw a great Light; and to those sitting in a region and shadow of death Light arose."

¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, "Repent ye; for the Kingdom of Heaven has drawn near."

¹⁴ And, after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Gospel of God, ¹⁵ and saying, "The time has been fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God, has come near. Repent ye, and believe in the Gospel."

¹⁴ And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee; and a report went out concerning Him through all the region round about. ¹⁵ And He taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.
