Philippians 3:5-14 - Righteousness Through Christ
5 of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews, touching the law, a Pharisee; Touching zeal, 6 persecuting the church, touching the righteousness, which is by the law, blameless.
7 But whatsoever things were gain to me, those I have accounted loss for Christ. 8 Yea doubtless, and I account all things to be loss, for the excellency of the knowledge of Jesus Christ my Lord; for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do account them but dung, 9 that I may gain Christ, And be found in him, not having my own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith: 10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable to his death: 11 If by any means I may attain unto the resurrection of the dead.
12 Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected: but I pursue, if I may apprehend that, for which I was also apprehended by Christ Jesus. 13 Brethren, I do not account myself to have apprehended. 14 But one thing I do, forgetting the things that are behind, and reaching forth unto the things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
