Romans 1:1-7 - Greeting
1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God, 2 Which he had promised before, by his prophets in the holy scriptures, 3 Concerning his Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord, 4 who was of the seed of David, according to the flesh, But declared the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead, 5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith in all nations for his name, Among whom are ye also, the called of Jesus Christ: 6 To all that are in Rome,
7 who are beloved of God, called and holy, Grace to you, and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Paul, called to be an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God,
2 and Sosthenes a brother, To the church of God, which is in Corinth, to them that are sanctified through Christ Jesus, called and holy, with all that in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both theirs and ours:
3 Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 to the churches of Galatia, Grace be to you, and peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, 4 (that he might deliver us from the present evil world) according to the will of God and our Father, 5 To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
1 Paul and Silvanus and Timotheus to the church of the Thessalonians in God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, Grace be unto you and Peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Paul a servant of God, and an Apostle of Jesus Christ, in things concerning the faith of God's elect, and the knowledge of the truth which is after godliness, 2 In hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before the world began; 3 And he hath in due time manifested his word, thro' the preaching wherewith I am intrusted, according to the commandment of God our Saviour:
4 To Titus my own son after the common faith, grace, mercy, peace from God the Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ our Saviour.
1 James a servant of God, and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting.
1 Peter an Apostle of Jesus Christ to the sojourners scattered thro' Pontus, 2 Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, Elect (according to the fore-knowledge of God the Father) thro' sanctification of the Spirit unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ. Grace and peace be multiplied to you.
1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us, thro' the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ. 2 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you, thro' the knowledge of God, and of Jesus, our Lord;
3 As his divine power hath given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, thro' the knowledge of him that hath called us by glory and virtue, 4 By which he hath given us exceeding great and precious promises, that by these, having escaped the corruption which is in the world thro' desire, ye may become partakers of the divine nature: 5 For this very reason giving all diligence, add to your faith courage, 6 and to courage knowledge, And to knowledge temperance, and to temperance patience, 7 and to patience godliness, And to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love.
