Ephesians 6:5-9 - Slaves And Masters

Ephesians 6:5-9

5 Servants, obey them that are your masters according to the flesh, with reverential fear, in the simplicity of your heart, as unto Christ: 6 not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; 7 with good-will, as serving the Lord rather than men: 8 knowing that whatever good any one doth, he shall receive the reward of it from the Lord, whether He be a slave or free. 9 And ye masters, do the same to them, forbearing threatening: knowing that ye yourselves also have a Master in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with Him.

1 Timothy 6:1-2

1 Let as many as are servants under the yoke account their own masters worthy of all honor; that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed: 2 and let not those who have believing masters, despise them, because they are brethren; but serve them more readily, because they are faithful and beloved by God, partakers of his grace.
