Ephesians 6:5-9 - Slaves And Masters

⁵ Servants, obey them that are your masters according to the flesh, with reverential fear, in the simplicity of your heart, as unto Christ: ⁶ not with eye-service as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; ⁷ with good-will, as serving the Lord rather than men: ⁸ knowing that whatever good any one doth, he shall receive the reward of it from the Lord, whether He be a slave or free. ⁹ And ye masters, do the same to them, forbearing threatening: knowing that ye yourselves also have a Master in heaven, and there is no respect of persons with Him.

¹ Let as many as are servants under the yoke account their own masters worthy of all honor; that the name of God and his doctrine may not be blasphemed: ² and let not those who have believing masters, despise them, because they are brethren; but serve them more readily, because they are faithful and beloved by God, partakers of his grace.
