Matthew 28:11-15 - The Guards Report The Body Stolen

¹¹ While they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city, and told the chief priests all things that were done. ¹² And when they came together with the elders, they held a consultation, and gave much money to the soldiers, ¹³ saying: Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away, while we were asleep. ¹⁴ And if this shall be heard in the presence of the governor, we will persuade him, and make you secure. ¹⁵ And they took the money, and did as they were taught. And their report of this matter is everywhere published among the Jews to this day.
