Matthew 26:26-30 - The Lord's Supper

²⁶ And while they were eating, Jesus having taken the bread, and having blessed, did brake, and was giving to the disciples, and said, 'Take, eat, this is my body;' ²⁷ and having taken the cup, and having given thanks, he gave to them, saying, 'Drink ye of it -- all; ²⁸ for this is my blood of the new covenant, that for many is being poured out -- to remission of sins; ²⁹ and I say to you, that I may not drink henceforth on this produce of the vine, till that day when I may drink it with you new in the reign of my Father.' ³⁰ And having sung a hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives;

²² And as they are eating, Jesus having taken bread, having blessed, brake, and gave to them, and said, 'Take, eat; this is my body.'

²³ And having taken the cup, having given thanks, he gave to them, and they drank of it -- all; ²⁴ and he said to them, 'This is my blood of the new covenant, which for many is being poured out; ²⁵ verily I say to you, that no more may I drink of the produce of the vine till that day when I may drink it new in the reign of God.' ²⁶ And having sung an hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives,

¹⁴ And when the hour come, he reclined (at meat), and the twelve apostles with him, ¹⁵ and he said unto them, 'With desire I did desire to eat this passover with you before my suffering, ¹⁶ for I say to you, that no more may I eat of it till it may be fulfilled in the reign of God.' ¹⁷ And having taken a cup, having given thanks, he said, 'Take this and divide to yourselves, ¹⁸ for I say to you that I may not drink of the produce of the vine till the reign of God may come.'

¹⁹ And having taken bread, having given thanks, he brake and gave to them, saying, 'This is my body, that for you is being given, this do ye -- to remembrance of me.'

²⁰ In like manner, also, the cup after the supping, saying, 'This cup is the new covenant in my blood, that for you is being poured forth. ²¹ But, lo, the hand of him delivering me up is with me on the table, ²² and indeed the Son of Man doth go according to what hath been determined; but woe to that man through whom he is being delivered up.'

²³ And they began to reason among themselves, who then of them it may be, who is about to do this thing.
