Galatians 3:21-Galatians 4:7 - The Purpose Of The Law Of Moses

21 Is the law, then, against the promises of God? It can not be. For if a law had been given which could have given life, surely righteousness would have been by law. 22 But the scripture has shut up all under sin, that the promise by faith in Christ Jesus may be given to those who believe. 23 But before the faith came, we were kept under law, being shut up to the faith which was to be revealed. 24 So, then, the law was our pedagogue that led us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But since the faith has come, we are no longer under a pedagogue: 26 for you are all the sons of God, by faith in Christ Jesus:

27 for as many of you as have been immersed into Christ, have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bondman nor free man, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ s, then you are Abraham's posterity, and heirs according to the promise.

1 But I say, that the heir, as long as he is a minor, differs in no respect from a servant, though he is owner of all; 2 but is under guardians and managers till the time appointed by the father. 3 So, also, we, when we were minors, were in bondage under the rudiments of the world. 4 But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 that he might buy off those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 So, then, you are no longer a servant, but a son; and if a son, an heir also of God, through Christ.
