Galatians 3:21-Galatians 4:7 - The Purpose Of The Law Of Moses
21 Is the law then against the promises of God? By no means. For if a law had been given, able to give life, righteousness would really have been by the law; 22 but the Scripture has shut up all under sin, that the promise of the faith of Jesus Christ may be given to them that believe. 23 But before the faith came, we were kept shut up under the law for the faith to be revealed. 24 So that the law was our schoolmaster to lead to Christ, that we might be justified by faith; 25 but the faith having come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. 26 For you are all children of God by the faith in Jesus Christ;
27 for as many of you as are baptized in Christ, have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither servant nor freeman, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are of Christ, then are you Abraham's children and heirs according to the promise.
1 But I say, that as long as the heir is a child, he differs not from a servant, though he is lord of all, 2 but is under tutors and stewards till the time appointed by the father. 3 So also we, when we were children, were in servitude under the rudiments of the world; 4 but when the fullness of time came, God sent forth his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 that he might redeem those under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 6 And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. 7 So that you are no longer a servant, but a son; and if a son, also an heir of God.
