Matthew 5:21-26 - The Sermon On The Mount: Anger Toward Others

21 "Ye heard that it was said to the ancients, 'You shall not kill; and whosoever kills shall be in danger of the judgment.' 22 But I say to you that every one who is angry with his brother shall be in danger of the judgment; and whosoever says to his brother Raca shall be in danger of the high-council; and whosoever shall say, O foolish one! shall be in danger of the Hell of fire. 23 If, therefore, you are offering your gift at the altar, and there remember that your brother has ought against you, 24 leave there your gift before the altar, and go your way, first be reconciled to your brother, and then, coming, offer your gift. 25 Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are with him in the way; lest perhaps the adversary deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be cast into prison. 26 Verily I say to you, in no wise shall you come out thence, till you pay the last farthing.
