Luke 6:37-42 - The Sermon On The Plain: On Judging Others

37 And judge not, that ye be not judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: 38 give, and there shall be given unto you; good measure pressed down, and shook, and running over, shall they give into your lap. For with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured back to you again.

39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? will they not both fall into the pit? 40 The disciple is not above his teacher; but every one who is completely taught shall be as his master.

41 But why beholdest thou the mote which is in thy brother's eye, but observest not the beam which is in thine own eye? 42 Or how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, permit me to take off the mote which is on thine eye, not seeing thyself the beam in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite! cast out the beam which is in thine eye, and then shalt thou see distinctly to take off the mote which is in thy brother's eye.
