Luke 6:43-46 - The Sermon On The Plain: Trees And Their Fruit
43 For there is no good tree which bears bad fruit, nor, again, a bad tree which bears good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For they do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they pick grapes from brambles. 45 The good man out of the good treasury of his heart brings forth good, and the evil man out of the evil brings forth evil; for out of the abundance of the heart its mouth speaks.
46 And why do you call me Lord! Lord! and do not what I say?
