John 2:1-11 - The Wedding At Cana: Water Turned Into Wine

And the third day, was there a marriage in Cana, a city of Galilee. And Jesus' mother was there. 2 And Jesus was called also, and his disciples, unto the marriage. 3 And when the wine failed, Jesus' mother said unto him, "They have no wine."

Jesus said unto her, "Woman, what have I to do with thee? Mine hour is not yet come."

His mother said unto the ministers, "Whatsoever he sayeth unto you, do it."

And there were standing there, six waterpots of stone after the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins apiece.

And Jesus said unto them, "Fill the water pots with water." And they filled them up to the hard brim. 8 And he said unto them, "Draw out now, and bear unto the governor of the feast." And they bare it.

When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was turned unto wine, and knew not whence it was - But the ministers which drew the water knew - He called the bridegroom, 10 and said unto him, "All men at the beginning set forth good wine; And when men be drunk, then that which is worse: But thou hast kept back the good wine until now."

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and showed his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
