Revelation 12:1-6 - The Woman And Her Son Versus The Dragon

¹ And a great sign was seen in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a diadem of twelve stars. ² She was with child; and she cried out, travailing in birth, in anguish to be delivered. ³ And another sign was seen in heaven; and lo, a great red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and upon his head seven diadems. ⁴ His tail drew a third part of the stars of the sky, and dashed them down to the earth. And the dragon stood before the woman about to be delivered, so that he might devour her child when she was delivered. ⁵ And she gave birth to a son, a man child, who is to shepherd all the nations with a rod of iron; and her child was caught up unto God and unto his throne. ⁶ And the woman fled into the desert, where she has a place prepared by God, in which she is to be nourished for a thousand two hundred and threescore days.
