(1) with reference to his first advent "in the fulness of the time" (1Jo 5:20; 2Jo 1:7), or (2) with reference to his coming again the second time at the last day (Ac 1:11; 3:20-21; 1Th 4:15; 2Ti 4:1; Heb 9:28).
The expression is used metaphorically of the introduction of the gospel into any place (Joh 15:22; Eph 2:17), the visible establishment of his kingdom in the world (Mt 16:28), the conferring on his people of the peculiar tokens of his love (Joh 14:18,23,28), and his executing judgment on the wicked (2Th 2:8).

Only be very firm and bold, taking heed to do according to all the law which Moses my servant commanded thee, do not turn aside therefrom, to the right hand or to the left, - that thou mayest prosper, whithersoever thou goest.

Thus, the Christ also, once for all having been offered, for the bearing of the sins, of many, a second time, apart from sin, will appear, to them who for him are ardently waiting - unto salvation.
We know, moreover, that, the Son of God, hath come, and hath given us insight, so that we are getting to understand, him that is Real, - and we are in him that is Real, in his Son Jesus Christ. This, is the Real God, and life age-abiding.
