when he made rules for the rain and set paths for the thunderstorms,

I will proclaim the decree of Jehovah: He said to me: You are my Son. Today I have become your Father. (I have begotten you.)

You established the earth upon its foundations, so that it will not be unstable forever.

You set a boundary that they may not go beyond. They will not return to cover the earth.

Revive me according to your loving kindness, so I may keep the law of your mouth (you have spoken). Forever, O Jehovah, your word is settled in heaven. read more. Your faithfulness is throughout all generations. You established the earth, and it stands. They stand this day according to your ordinances, for all things are your servants.

He set them in their places forever and ever. He made it a law that no one can break.

When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his command, when he appointed the foundations of the earth,

Do you not reverence (respect) me? Asks Jehovah. Do you not tremble [with awe] in my presence? I made the sand a boundary for the sea, a permanent barrier it cannot cross. Although the waves toss continuously, they cannot break through. Although they roar, they cannot cross it.

He who made the earth by his power, and established the world by his wisdom; also stretched out the heavens by his understanding.

If you do not tell me my dream, the law will apply to you. You are stalling by speaking lies to me until I change my requirements. Tell me the dream, and I will know that you can show me the interpretation of it.

The decision is by the decree of the watchers. The sentence by the word of the holy ones! It is to the intent that the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will, and sets over it the lowest of men.

This is the interpretation, O king. It is the decree from the Most High that has come to my lord the king.

Before the decree takes effect. Before the day passes like the chaff. Before the fierce anger of Jehovah comes upon you. Yes, before the Day of Jehovah's anger comes upon you.

In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that a census should be taken of all the inhabited earth.

They went through the towns and delivered to the believers the rules decided upon by the apostles and elders in Jerusalem. They told them to obey those rules.

Jason welcomed them. They all act contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus.

Christ abolished in his flesh the enmity (ill will), which the law of commandments contained in ordinances. That [way] he might create one new man, out of the two, with himself establishing peace.
