????????. The state which the bodies of the dead in Christ (now going to corruption in their graves) will have at the resurrection. When this takes place, and the mortal shall have put on immortality, death will be swallowed up in victory! 1Co 15:42-54. In Ro 2:7, and 2Ti 1:10 the word is the same as the above, and should be translated 'incorruption' instead of 'immortality.'

For this perishing body must be invested with the imperishable, and this mortal body invested with immortality; and when this mortal body has been invested with immortality, then the saying of Scripture will be realized, Death is swallowed up in victory.
