Hastings
The father of Zerubbabel (Ezr 3:2,6; 5:2; Ne 12:1; Hag 1:1,12,14; 2:2,23). According to 1Ch 3:17, Shealtiel was the eldest son of king Jeconiah. In 1Ch 3:10 the Massoretic Text makes Pedaiah (a brother of Shealtiel) the father of Zerubbabel.

Then Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and his brothers the priests, and Zerubbabel, the son of Shealtiel, with his brothers, got up and made the altar of the God of Israel for burned offerings as is recorded in the law of Moses, the man of God.
