crying out, Men of Israel, help! This is the man that teacheth every one everywhere against the people, and the Law, and this place; and besides he even brought Greeks into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

and set up false witnesses, who said, This man ceaseth not to speak words against the holy place, and the Law.

and said, This man affirmed, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it within three days.

And he answering said to them, See ye not all these? Truly do I say to you, There will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.

And Jesus said to him, Seest thou these great buildings? There will not be left one stone upon another, that will not be thrown down.

As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in which there will not be left here one stone upon another, that will not be throw down.

Then said the Jews, Fortysix years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith to him, Teacher, see! what stones, and what buildings!

And as some were saying of the temple, that it was adorned with goodly stones, and sacred gifts, he said,

When, therefore, ye see the abomination of desolation, spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that readeth understand,)

Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

And the whole multitude of the people was praying without at the time of the incense.

Then the Devil taketh him into the holy city, and setteth him on the pinnacle of the temple;

And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all those who sold and bought in the temple, and overturned the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of those who sold the doves; and said to them, It is written, "My house shall be called a house of prayer; but ye make it a den of robbers."

And when the seven days were almost ended, the Jews from Asia, having seen him in the temple, stirred up the whole multitude, and laid hands on him, crying out, Men of Israel, help! This is the man that teacheth every one everywhere against the people, and the Law, and this place; and besides he even brought Greeks into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place. And the whole city was in motion, and the people ran together; and they laid hold of Paul and dragged him out of the temple; and forthwith the doors were shut.

And, lo! the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth, quaked, and the rocks were rent,

And having made a scourge of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and poured out the money of the exchangers, and overthrew the tables; and said to those who sold the doves, Take these things hence; make not my Fathers house a house of merchandise. His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for thy house will consume me."

I was daily with you in the temple, teaching, and ye did not lay hands on me; but [thus it is], that the Scriptures may be fulfilled.

And he found in the temple those who sold oxen, and sheep, and doves, and the moneychangers sitting.

Then said the Jews, Fortysix years was this temple in building; and wilt thou raise it up in three days?

And a certain man lame from his birth was carried along, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of those who entered the temple;
