He may walk as a carnal or as a spiritual man, Ro 8:1; with God, or in ignorance and sin, Ge 5:24; 1Jo 5:21; in the fire of affliction, Isa 43:2, or in the light, purity, and joy of Christ's favor here and in heaven, Ps 89:15; Re 3:4.
