And gleanings will be left over in it, as {when an olive tree is beaten}, two [or] three ripe olive berries in [the] top of a branch, four [or] five on its fruitful branches," {declares} Yahweh, the God of Israel.

The [mournful, inspired] oracle (a burden to be carried) concerning Tyre:

Wail, O ships of Tarshish,
For Tyre is destroyed, without house, without harbor;
It is reported to them from the land of Cyprus (Kittim).

Wail, O ships of Tarshish,
For your stronghold [of Tyre] is destroyed.

So it will be on the earth and among the nations as when an olive tree is beaten, or as gleanings when the grape harvest has ended."
