"I will destroy humanity and beast; I will destroy the birds of the sky and the fish of the sea, and the stumbling blocks with the wicked. And I will cut off humankind from the face of the earth"--a declaration of Yahweh.

and them that turn back from after Jehovah, and that do not seek Jehovah, nor inquire for him.

She is disobedient; she refuses correction. She does not trust the Lord; she does not seek the advice of her God.

Such as I have subdued, and my children also whom I have scattered abroad, shall bring me presents beyond the waters of Ethiopia.

And they will take refuge and trust confidently in the name of the Lord.

Mine afflicted from the appointed place I have gathered, from thee they have been, Bearing for her sake reproach.

Behold me doing all for sake of thee in that time: and I saved her halting, and her being driven out I will gather; and I set them for a praise and for a name in every land of their shame.
