Of the sons of Naphtali, their descendants, by their families (clans), by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, all who were able to go to war:

those of the tribe of Naphtali numbered 53,400.

Then [completing the north side] comes the tribe of Naphtali; and Ahira the son of Enan shall lead the sons of Naphtali,

and his army as numbered totaled 53,400.

On the twelfth day [it was] Ahira the son of Enan, leader [of the tribe] of the sons of Naphtali [who presented his offering];

and Ahira the son of Enan was [commander] over the tribal army of the sons of Naphtali.

Of the sons of Naphtali according to their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;

These are the families (clans) of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were 45,400.
