and was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah; on opening the book he came upon the place where it was written,

and when the hour came he took his place, with the apostles beside him.

(This was a man who had been put into prison on account of a riot which had taken place in the city and also on a charge of murder.)

and when they came to the place called The Skull they crucified him there along with the criminals, one at his right and one at his left.
