All things are lawful for me; but all are not profitable. All things are lawful for me; but I will not be brought under the control of any.

And, to the Jews, I became as a Jew, that I might gain Jews; to those under law, as under law (not being myself under law), that I might gain those under law;

to those without law, as without law (not being without law to God, but under law to Christ), that I might gain those without law.

for He must reign, till He hath put all the enemies under His feet.

for He put all things in subjection under His feet. But, when He saith, "All things have been put in subjection," it is evident that He is excepted, Who subjected all things to Him.

and it may be that I will remain, or even winter with you, that you may send me forward, wherever I may go.
