For if we be beside our selves, it is for God; or, if we be of sound mind, it is for you.

And we have sent with him the brother whose praise in the gospel is in all the churches;

And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have often proved to be diligent in many things, but now much more diligent on account of the strong confidence which he has in you.

But I have sent the brethren, that our boasting of you in this respect may not be in vain; that you may be ready, as I said:

Did I overreach you by any of those whom I sent to you?

I exhorted Titus, and with him sent the brother. Did Titus overreach you? Did we not walk in the same spirit? Did we not walk in the same steps?
