And called the name of the said place, Bochim, and offered there unto the LORD.

Bless the LORD, ye that ride on goodly asses and sit in judgment. And ye that walk by the ways, make ditties.

Behold, I will put a fleece of wool in the threshing place. And if the dew be on the fleece only, and dry upon all the earth beside: then I shall be sure that thou wilt save Israel by my hand as thou saidest."

And they went and pitched in Kiriathjearim in Judah. Wherefore the place is called Mahanahdan unto this day, which is on the back side of Kiriathjearim.

And he said unto his lad, "Go forward, and we shall come to one place or other and shall lodge all night in Gibeah or in Ramah."

But behold, there came an old man from his work, out of the fields, at even - which was also of mount Ephraim, and but a stranger in Gibeah, for the men of the place were of the children of Benjamin.

And the folk of the children of Israel plucked up their hearts, and went to again and made battle in the same place where they did the first day:
