And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under color as though they would cast anchors out of the foreship,

For behold this very thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what avenging! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet-color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her lewdness:

Having the glory of God: and her light was like to a stone most precious, even like a jasper-stone, clear as crystal;

And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like clear glass.

And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
