And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

And many that believed came, and confessed, and told of their deeds.

These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and exiles on the earth.

Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: [but] he that confesses the Son has the Father also.

By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

And every spirit that confesses not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, of which you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
