And as Peter was below in the courtyard, there came one of the maidservants of the high priest:

But if that servant says in his heart, My lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidservants, and to eat and drink, and to be drunk;

Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard: and a maidservant came unto him, saying, You also were with Jesus of Galilee.

And when he was gone out into the porch, another maidservant saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.

And the maidservant saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

But a certain maidservant beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.
