took the branches of the palm trees, and went out to meet him, and began crying aloud - Hosanna! Blessed is he that is coming in the name of the Lord, - even the King of Israel!

These are they - who, in your love-feasts, are hidden rocks, as they fare sumptuously together, fearlessly, themselves, shepherding, - clouds without water, by winds swept along, trees autumnal, fruitless, twice dead, uprooted,

saying - Do not injure the land, or the sea, or the trees, until we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads.

These, are the two olive-trees, and the two lamps, which, before the Lord of the earth, do stand.
