The tribe of Benjamin, listed according to their families, included: From Bela, the family of the descendants of Bela; from Ashbel, the family of the descendants of Ashbel; from Ahiram, the family of the descendants of Ahiram;

The sons of Benjamin: Bela, Becher, Ashbel. And the sons of Bela: Gera, Naaman, Ehi, Rosh, Muppim, Huppim. And Gera became the father of Ard.

These were the kings who ruled in the land of Edom before any king ruled over the Israelites: Bela son of Beor. Bela’s town was named Dinhabah.

made war with Bera king of Sodom, and with Birsha king of Gomorrah, and with Shinab king of Admah, and with Shemeber king of Zeboiim, and with the king of Bela - which Bela is called Zoar.

And there went out the king of Sodom, and the king of Gomorrah, and the king of Admah, and the king of Zeboiim, and the king of Bela (the same is Zoar;) and they joined battle with them in the vale of Siddim;

And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman. Of Ard, the family of the Ardites; of Naaman, the family of the Naamites;

[The sons of] Benjamin: Bela, Beker, and Jediael, three.

The sons of Bela: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri, five, [the] heads of [the] house of [the] fathers, mighty warriors. And their enrollment by genealogy [was] twenty-two thousand thirty-four.

Now Benjamin fathered Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

And Bela had sons: Addar, Gera, Abihud,

When Bela died, Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrah reigned in his place.

and Bela the son of Azaz, the son of Shema, the son of Joel, who dwelt in Aroer, as far as Nebo and Baal-meon;

And Bela the son of Beor reigned in Edom; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

And Bela died; and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

To the east Bela settled as far as the entrance into the desert from the river Euphrates, because their cattle had multiplied in the land of Gilead.
