and said unto them, "The LORD look unto you and judge! For ye have made the savour of us stink in the sight of Pharaoh and of his servants, and have put a sword into their hands to slay us."

And all Israel that were about them, fled at the cry of them. For they said, "The earth might haply swallow us also."

Then they sent the ark of God to Ekron. And as soon as the ark of God came to Ekron, the Ekronites cried out saying, "They have brought the ark of the God of Israel unto us: to slay us and our people."
